2 Day Workshop
9AM - 2PM Consecutive Days
Day One:
● Tour of Namdev Krishi Farm drying fields to see a rainbow of colored fabrics
● Visits to block carving workshops, dye and printing workshops, and fabric washing area
● Washing and mordanting of products for natural printing and dying, your choice of three products (tote bag, scarf, bandana, or 2x3 rug)
● Choice of traditional Rajasthani lunch in our village home or Thali lunch at local restaurant
Day Two:
● Printing using natural inks (beggar, red and syahi, black) and dabu mud paste
● Dyeing using Indigo or Kassis (grey)
● Boiling of finished natural printed and dyed products to fix the colors
● Choice of traditional Rajasthani lunch in our village home or Thali lunch at local restaurant
Included:
● A cup of masala chai upon arrival each day
● Guided tour with English speaking leader, coaching on natural dyes and printing
● Natural inks and dyes, three fabric products of your choice

Immerse yourself in the colours and printing of Bagru!
Visit the workshops of artisans specialized in block carving, dyeing, washing, and printing. Tour the drying fields and see a rainbow of colours. Watch as the master printers stamp centuries-old patterns.
Included: Guided tour through Chhipa Ka Mohalla, and Namdev Krishi Farm. A cup of masala chai. Transportation can be arranged to and from Jaipur at additional cost.

ADD ON - Titanwala Block Print Museum
1 Hour
Visit the Titanwala Block Print Museum in Bagru. Located near our workshop in Bagru, the Titanwala Block Print Museum is dedicated to the preservation of traditional methods of hand block printing using natural colours. On display are fabrics, wooden blocks, vessels and tools used in the printing process.

We also educate them about the best ways to increase their visibility and therefore, sales, through the means of newer marketing channels and social media.

Local Culture
As a part of the cultural landscape of Bagru Village, we encourage our guests to embrace the experience of being in rural Rajasthan. The village tour takes them up close to the every-day lives of the printers and they end the tour with a greater appreciation for both the art and the artist. Our day also includes a home-cooked traditional meal which completes the authentic Bagru experience.
Cleanliness Drive
While observing a strict no-waste, no-littering policy on a daily basis, we also dedicate a whole day each year for a village-wide cleanliness drive. We join forces with the local residents to pick up trash from all parts of the common drying areas and common pathways and end the day with a feast of local delicacies to celebrate a day well spent.
